Quick note

Things have been a bit crazy. Picked up friends Rich & Deb in Mazatlan last Saturday, and we made our way here to Cabo San Lucas after a stop at Punta Piaxtla. My computer died a few days ago and seeing how it's my life's blood right now, both work-wise and navigation-wise, Rich and I have spent two days trying to repair it. I've finally managed to get XP reinstalled and Nobeltec, Skype, etc... all the essentials, and now it's time for me to get out of here and make my way to Guaymas. Plan is to haul out in Guaymas on the 14th, bus to Phoenix the night of the 15th, and fly from PHO to SEA on the 16th.

I'll be leaving Chemistry on the hard in Guaymas ("Marina Seca", which means "Dry Marina") for the summer/early Fall until my insurance company will let me go below the Tropical Storm Zone again on Nov 1, at which point I'll make my way a bit faster to Florida via the Panama Canal. Meanwhile, I'll be living out of my backpack for 5 months.

Gotta run before Marina Cabo San Lucas tries to charge me another $158/night (!!!!), but I'll make updates via Sailmail while at sea - making my way north in the Sea of Cortez.
